SHB50115 Diploma of Beauty Therapy
This course is for people interested in becoming a qualified beauty therapist. This qualification reflects the role of individuals who possess a sound theoretical knowledge base and use a range of specialised, technical or managerial competencies to plan, carry out and evaluate the work of self and/or team in the industry of Beauty Services. They may coordinate the operation of a business or operate on a freelance basis.

Duration: Full Time 3-4 Days/Nights Per Week for 12 Months
Part Time 2 Days/Nights Per Week 24 Months
Day: 9:30am – 2:30pm | Night: 6:00pm-9:00pm
Delivery: This course is delivered via face-to-face teaching, demonstration, and practical application. Students experience a simulated workplace environment, with access to equipment, products and facilities reflecting industry practice. Students are also required to complete a total of 100 hours mandatory work experience to be undertaken prior to course completion.
Entry Requirements: Students will need to demonstrate the Learning, Literacy and Numeracy skills required for this course prior to course commencement.

SCA take enrolments for start dates of both February and July intake in each year.
SCA operates in the same terms as NSW Secondary Schools, including holidays.

Enrolments for our January 2023 intake will open from November 2022!
SCA students purchase their kits which include the materials and equipment they require to perform treatments in class and outside class hours and within their work experience.
The materials and equipment within your kits become the students property once purchased.

SCA operates a student run clinic day designed to enable students to gain valuable experience and skills for treating clients in an Beauty Salon environment.

SCA students are supervised by an Educator and perform treatments in which they have been deemed competent in. SCA’s Beauty Clinic allows students to build the skills needed to find work placement and employment after their qualification.
SCA offer payment plans for all our course and require a deposit to enrol in each course.
Full Cost – $16,221.00
Deposit: $1,000.00
Payment Plan – Twelve (12) monthly payments of $1,268.42
Option Two – VET Student Loans Funding
