COURSE DESCRIPTION
This qualification reflects the role of individuals who possess a sound theoretical knowledge base and use a range of specialised, technical or managerial competencies to plan, carry out and evaluate the work of self and/or team in the area of specialist make-up services for the film, television and entertainment industries. They may coordinate the operation of a make-up department or business or operate on a freelance basis. This course is for people interested in gaining specialist skills in make-up for film, television, theatre, fashion, photography and weddings.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Students will need to demonstrate the Learning, Literacy and Numeracy skills required for this course prior to course commencement.
DURATION
This course has two intakes per year in February and July. Day classes are available, however dependent on timetable available.
Day Classes – 9:30am – 3:30pm
Full Time – 12 Months
2 days per week
COURSE DELIVERY
This course is delivered via face-to-face teaching, demonstration and practical application. Students experience a simulated workplace environment, with access to equipment, products and facilities reflecting industry practice. Students are also required to complete a total of 200 hours mandatory work experience to be undertaken prior to course completion.

Option 3 – Fee for Service
Full Cost – $15,525.00
Deposit – $1,000.00
Payment Plan – Twelve (12) monthly payments of $1,185.42
Please be aware that there are additional costs for photo shoots for make-up units.
