Diploma of Screen and Media

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who possess a sound theoretical knowledge base and use a range of specialised, technical or managerial competencies to plan, carry out and evaluate the work of self and/or team in the area of specialist make-up services for the film, television and entertainment industries. They may coordinate the operation of a make-up department or business or operate on a freelance basis. This course is for people interested in gaining specialist skills in make-up for film, television, theatre, fashion, photography and weddings.

Students will need to demonstrate the Learning, Literacy and Numeracy skills required for this course prior to course commencement.

Student Kits

SCA Students purchase their kits which include materials and equipment they require to perform treatments and services in class and outside class hours and within their work experience. The materials and equipment within your kits become the students property once purchased.

This course is delivered via face-to-face teching, demonstration, and practical application. Students experience a simulated workplace environment, with access to equipment, products and facilities reflecting industry practice.
