South Coast Academy accept rolling applications for the Certificate III in Hairdressing Apprenticeship. Applications are evaluated and enrolled as they are received.

South Coast Academy is now offering expert in salon training to apprentices and providing in salon workshops in a range of skillsets to upskill Hairdressers. Training with SCA gives access to qualified Educators who have a passion for sharing their knowledge, expertise & experiences in their respective industries. Our classes are small so every student gets the attention that is needed to allow them to feel competent in all aspects of the core units. SCA has an invested interest in giving every apprentice the best we have to offer as our reputation is reflected through their knowledge & skill level..
This qualification reflects the role of hairdressers who use a range of well-developed sales, consultation and technical skills and knowledge to provide a broad range of hairdressing services to clients. They use discretion and judgement to provide client services and take responsibility for the outcomes of their own work. This qualification provides a pathway to work as a hairdresser in any industry environment, usually a salon.
This course provides training in the fundamentals of hairdressing techniques and services including:

Men's & Ladies Haircuts
Colouring & Highlighting Services
Salon Services
Chemical & Protein Straightening
