25 March 2020
Following the Government’s address on Tuesday night, I have made the decision to cease all classes effective Thursday 27 March 2020. This decision has not been made lightly; however, we will continue to make decisions that ensure the health and well being of our students and staff is put first.
Plans are under way to deliver classes remotely in Term 2 commencing Monday 27 April 2020 should the lock down measures still be in place. Again, I urge all students to regularly check your emails and Wisenet student portal, and/or the SCA website for updates from the Academy.
Any assessments that were scheduled to take place this week or before the end of this term will be rescheduled at a time and date to be confirmed.
Further updates will be provided early next week regarding the units you are enrolled in for next term, as well as class and timetable details.
Whilst this is a stressful and challenging time for all students and staff, I want to reassure you all that the Academy is working tirelessly to ensure there is minimal disruption to your studies and that we will continue to deliver the same standard of quality training and assessment that you have become accustomed to.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your cooperation, support and positive outlook during these uncertain times. It has been heart-warming to see. We will all get through this together.
Stay safe and please do not hesitate in contacting myself or the Academy should you have any questions or concerns.
